RTL8111 Windows 7 & WinServer 2008 Application
Note
Dated 26 Sept 2011
If your adapter has an RTL8111D chipset, the driver is embedded into
the Windows 7 and WinServer 2008 Operating Systems. Please,
make sure you have all Windows Updates installed. Installation
should be plug and play.
If your adapter has an RTL8111E chipset (the "D" version being
discontinued), you "may" need to load an updated device driver if
running Windows 7 or WinServer 2008.
On a new system installation, please be sure to load the driver CD
that came with your motherboard, and all Windows Updates. If
the RTL8111E device driver does not automatically load, you will
need to download an updated device driver.
Please, download the following -
Installer_Win7_7048_09162011.zip
Or, you may go to the following device driver webpage -

We do anticipate that the R2 updated driver for Windows 7 and
WinServer 2008 will be included in a future Windows Update, or made
available in the next Service Pack release.
